Snook, is a service design agency based in London & Glasgow. For their 10 year anniversary they wanted to update their brand, to reflect their current prestige and position in the market, so they brought on Friendhood as a trusted partner to do just that.
We worked in-house to help develop the core of the brand. Service Design is an industry in it’s adolescence and the work they do, although impactful, is fairly intangible - so we sought out to discover how we could articulate their purpose to everybody in a way they can understand. Their work is rooted in values of human dignity, inclusivity, community, empathy, and joy - something we discovered through workshops with the team. By working collaboratively with Reed copywriting we started to pull these thoughts together to find the thread that ran throughout the company.
The end result was a brand that paid homage to the legacy of Snook, but brought it into a new phase, with a flexible brand system that acts as a timeless framework. The hand-drawn illustrations depict the human centre of Snook and the typography and flexible colour pallete showcase the myriad of projects Snook does.
